You can send money to Pakistan with Azimo in three simple steps.
1. Set up a transfer to Pakistan
- Select direct to bank as your delivery method
Please note, cash pick-up transfers can only be collected by native Pakistani residents with a valid Pakistani ID.
You can also send money to Pakistan via cash pick-up, SWIFT or mobile top-up.
2. Enter your recipient’s details
- First name
- Last name
- Account number (IBAN)
Your recipient will find their IBAN on their bank statement or by logging into online banking. Every country’s IBAN structure is different, but every one starts with a 2-digit country code. Pakistan’s code is PK.
The recipient’s name must match the name on their bank account/ID. Banks in Pakistan won’t check the account number against the bank account, so please make sure all details are 100% accurate before setting up a money transfer.
3. Pay for your transfer
Choose how much you want to send and select your payment method:
- Debit or credit card (maximum amount 12,000 GBP/13,500 EUR)
- Bank transfer via online banking
- SOFORT if you’re sending from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy or Netherlands
Please note that you can only use your own card to pay. If you’re using online banking to pay for your transfer, always send money from an account in your name and remember to include the reference number.
