You can send money to Pakistan with Azimo in three simple steps.

Please note that cash pick-up transfers can only be collected by native Pakistani residents with a valid Pakistani ID.
You can also send money to Pakistan via bank deposit, SWIFT or mobile top-up.
2. Enter your recipient’s details

The recipient’s name must match the name on their bank account/ID.
3. Choose a pick-up location
Your recipient can collect from any branch of:

- UBL (United Bank Limited)
- National Bank of Pakistan
4. Pay for your transfer
Payment methods include:
- Debit or credit card (maximum amount 12,000 GBP/13,500 EUR)
- Bank transfer via online banking
- SOFORT if you’re sending from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy or Netherlands
Please note that you can only use your own card to pay. If you’re using online banking to pay for your transfer, always send money from an account in your name and remember to include the reference number.
How long will it take to send my transfer to Pakistan?
Once we’ve received your payment, we will immediately process your transfer and notify you via email and push notification.
Transfers are available for pick-up at any HBL branch in minutes or 6,500 other locations within an hour.
Are there limits on how much I can send to Pakistan?
Minimum amount: 10 GBP
Maximum amount for cash pick-up: 1,500 GBP
If you need to send higher amounts to Pakistan, we may request additional details from you to process the transfer. This is a standard security check, in accordance with the Know Your Customer (KYC) policy, which is used across the EU and UK to ensure the safety of all money transfers.
There may be additional monthly/annual limits depending on your pick-up location. Please check with the bank.
What will my recipient need for cash pick-up?
Once we’ve notified you via email that the transfer is available for pick-up, your recipient will need to provide the following:
- Valid photo ID (with matching name)
- Pick-up reference number, which we’ll provide once you’ve set up the transfer
Your recipient may be asked to provide the name of our local partner, Uremit.
How much does it cost to send money to Pakistan?
Your first two Azimo transfers are fee-free and after that can be as low as £1.

How do I transfer to a company in Pakistan?
Cash pick-up transfers are not available when sending to a company in Pakistan.
